10+ Year Fitness Partner
Here’s my 10+ year old Gary Fisher model “Wahoo”, aluminum frame, 24 speed. I primarily use two gears, one to climb and one to cruise. This bike has seen some serious miles and is holding up quite well.
I’ve made the following mods-
**as of 4/30/2011, the only thing that remains stock on this bike is frame, seat post, rear derailleur, handle bar, gear shifters. All other components have come/gone several times.**
· High grade German wires replaced stock
· Road slicks (on 4th set)
· Rear gear ring/cassette geared for road replaced stock
· Saddle
· Higher grade chain (on 3rd upgraded chain)
· Pedal system
I paid $325 back in 1998. $$$ well spent!
