A little background... Pacer officials indicated I was randomly selected. I was warned before meeting Pacer mascot 'Boomer' aka Paul that I may not agree to terms! !
Had a blast; even got a gentleman's nod from Karl Malone during the hang out period backstage and while not decked in cheerleader drag. ;-)
March 14th 1997 Pacers/Jazz game - St. Patrick's Day based skit was during TNT's 1st TV timeout. My son who was 7 at the time hung out courtside leading up to and during the skit. After being reunited, I asked him how I did.
He responded, "d a d, I was embarrassed".

I had the great pleasure to witness SRV in concert (4th Row Center Summer 1989) after he’d cleaned his habitual drug and alcohol act up.
SRV blew my mind that night. He redefined for me what it meant to have soul & how to transfer soul to an audience!
