j a c k 2.0 release candidate (RC)

I relocated to San Antonio, Texas in July 2008 hovering around 205lbs which is heavier than I would prefer but considering I had no fitness activity going on I was OK with it.

 

It only took a few months of what co-workers and I joke about; living in (Taco Heaven - Bexar County, Texas) to take its toll. Mix in the sedentary based job/lifestyle I was maintaining; I plumped up real nice like to 234lbs.

 

Fast forward to an annual wellness visit 6/1/2009.  I learned all about my undesirable weight, elevated cholesterol and blood pressure levels.

After fussing with myself for 5 weeks, I decided to get active again by cycling with the goal of simply to feel better.  I had no true weight loss goals in mind per say, just get back to 200-205 but more importantly get busy mashin pedals which is my preferred way of exercising because I dig it.

 

Below are the results of year one (7/7/2009 – 7/6/2010) of my renewed cycling 4 fitness effort-

 

  • Seat time, 321:49:43
  • Miles logged, 5,111.9
  • Mph avg, 15.9

 99.9% of miles on this bike!

Very small% (44.1) miles on this bike.

 

  • Weight, 182lbs
  • Blood Pressure, Normal
  • Cholesterol, Normal

 

I'm posting a collage compiled of photos taken while I packed over 200+lbs around and while residing in San Antonio, TX.  That version of j a c k has been replaced with version 2.0 release candidate (RC)

 

Oh and I feel much better... thus reaching the original and most important goal!
